Tillinghast Pond Management Area is a beautiful area that offers natural beauty and serenity touted as some of the best in Rhode Island. Trees that line the trail include maple, oak, ash, pine and birch. Wildlife that you may see along the trail include deer, raccoon, small critters and birds. Be apprised that the area is hunted, so during hunting season you will need to dress appropriately to be safe.
